One of the most celebrated events in the automotive world, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance occurs every August on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach golf course. The event is a competition for collector cars and motorcycles judged on categories such as historical accuracy, technical merit, and style.

To be eligible for the Concours d'Elegance, a car must meet certain criteria. In addition to being well preserved or accurately restored, the car must have historical value. The car must also be able to be driven. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the car must exhibit an elegance worthy of being included with the finest cars in the world.
